p1110635I am an ornithologist interested on a wide variety of topics, but with an emphasis on evolutionary ecology. I am a field biologist by preference, but I also do extensive research in museum collections and enjoy spending long hours in front of the computer carrying out data analyses in R.

Short bio: After my undergraduate studies in Bahia Blanca Argentina, I carried out my PhD studies at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology in Germany, where I also stayed as a post-doc. In 2011 I moved to Australia, where I was an Australian Research Council DECRA fellow between 2012 and 2015. Currently I am adjunct at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and work as research fellow for the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, Seewiesen, Germany.
